OUR STORY!
We have frequently purchased hydroponically grown lettuce, and found it to taste so delightfully fresh, that we actually were willing to pay up to $5 a head!! We had even investigated hydroponic set-ups on line, and purchased a system for $400 that shall remain nameless :). Then, in January, 2011, we heard through a local grapevine (?) that a hydroponic farmer about an hour's drive from our home sold great produce, but was open only twice a week. On March 23, we finally had the opportunity to head up there, intending to purchase some lettuce and tomatoes. Once we saw the Tower Garden™ in person (so to speak), we were enthralled...and spent about two hours discussing hydroponics, growing vegetables, and specifically the Tower Garden™ with the owners. We actually purchased a Tower Garden™ that day, and subsequently have become distributors. Oh....and we were so excited about our purchase, that we FORGOT to buy lettuce and tomatoes.
